I see him doing nothing all day
He says his work is done now friends
Its time our work started true

I left his side to wak to valley of death
I met a man named evil, and then i died
I followed him so close
Each word he crept made so much sense

I left detoxed from the path
Living to deal death to my maker
Indulging in the darkest arts
With this faith ill meet him soon

He left me cold, and so alone
He will meet his fate this day
With the blade of truth ill slit his throat
Ill strike him down with all i am

Ill take my chances, ill spit on his grave
As my eyes cry his crimson red
My face shows no emotion as the demons clutter close
Engulfing me for this ultimate sin

Shackled by my sentence, from this loss of god
Im creating a solitude, from faith and life alike
Forced to repent each day for my sin
Unable to produce a penance

I cry out to evil, asking for forgiveness
Screams fill this room, no one left to hear
My eyes now red with perfection
Solitude persists, as i am left to fend alone

There is no penance for my sins
I was a puppet for a man named evil
So now ill die a fated death
And live my life in eternal solitude [comments] => 4 [counter] => 166 [topic] => 11 [informant] => forever_lonely [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => ChristianPoetry )

Wow, Luke...that has to be the deepest thing i've ever seen you write. This has layer upon layer of meaning, and well conveyed at that. Excellent work, my friend.

Truly,
-V.S.
