[hometext] => This poem is less about suicide or anything like that than of the medias effect on a human being, how it shapes who we are, and the negative effects it has on a person.
[bodytext] => a television out of tune girl alone in a white room driven insane by what she sees ddriven mad by the need and greed to be perfect, thats the matter she screams to shatter the glass of wine next to her hand stands, watches the red spill until its done with a grin she thinks "why that looks fun." in the television's light she guides the glass to her wrist horrified of the sight, the television's gleam so bright. deeper and deeper until the blood rushes out deeper and deeper as her lips start to pout an unfinished work of art yes thats what i am unfinished masterpiece seeking red for i am to perfect his sculpture she contemplated while she bled she wanted to be an angel but she was ripped from her wings she wanted to be perfect but what ugliness death brings and so she lets go of her last breath slowly falls her last tear she lets go of the tv stand she lets go of the fear a victim of these modern times society claims one more and so the television plays just a little louder than before [comments] => 3 [counter] => 179 [topic] => 32 [informant] => teenageemogirl [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )
