Array ( [sid] => 34882 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => To my deraest Nan [time] => 2004-02-13 18:33:08 [hometext] => This was a poem I wrote a few years ago when my Nan died. [bodytext] => You are the sweetest woman I ever did meet,
Being with you was a really big treat.
From the day of your birth it became very clear,
that you were a woman who would always lend an ear.
Four precious children you did reaise,
and they always had something about you to praise.
Through the years 11 grandchildren came along,
and you made sure they knew to whom they belonged.
Your strong faith in God above,
was so appearant through your love.
Never one to grumble and complain
even when endearing so much pain.
Your talents were something everyone knew,
playing piano and poetry were just a few.
The memories are many and always in my heart,
until this earth I one day will depart.
Then in Heaven together we will be,
together forever, just you me and God's family.
I love you and miss you Nan!! [comments] => 1 [counter] => 171 [topic] => 55 [informant] => sarah_1600 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )

Wow. Just wow. I lost my gran last year, and that poem actually could have been written about my Gran. The emotions and pain I still feel now are horrible. I miss her more than anything.

Really nice poem and you wouldn't beleive how much I can relate to that
