Striking entwined souls with magic and mist,
Oblivious to reality they walk by and kiss,
Plundering others into lonliness so deep.

Too bad this year its still me, myself and I,
Sitting in the midst of shadows trying not to cry,
A tinge of jealousy at the starry eyed,
Lying solo counting the hours rolling by.

The lovestruck people, they're floating on air,
Skipping on the clouds, dancing without a care,
The crimson visuals engulfing me with pain,
This years Valentines will be nothing but the same. Sorry, I was a bit careless. The title should be Valentine's Day for the Lonely. My mistake.

:)

I haven't commented in almost half a year, but heh this poem is for me.
Too bad I won't be alone. I'll be spending my valentine with a 4 hours math exam on Saturday morn'.

Thanks for putting my feelings into this poem, i wouldn't have done it any better (besides I don't even have time to anyway :P)

I like the title. This poem I can really relate to because I have felt exactly the way you put it. Your words drop heavenly.
