Shhh just listen, come closer, over here
Shush be still, look his getting near
Stop trembling, don’t breathe, and wipe that tear!
See! He’s drunk again, don’t let him hear

~Shouting~

Run! My dear run! Get out of his way!
Don’t let him touch you, go now, obey!
Call the neighbours or the police, and stay away!
Tonight I won’t forget, no, no regret, he has to pay!

*Crash*

~Whispered~

I love you

*Gun shot*

I still do

*Gun shot*

Ok I know this is kinda stupid *Feel embarrased* but since my friend told me that she didn't understand the poem *Cries*, the ending, I just tought to explain it *Scratches her head*. There's a woman, child and Man, *Don't ask me if their names lol* Man comes home drunk, woman and child try to hide, then he finds them, child runs, Woman kills the man after he hits her then kills herself. I know not very happy story but thats the sad reality. Hope I was plain enough, Thanks for reading *Winks*

O no, this is so sad! Beautiful, with a deeply slashing title! This is the way poetry should do its work, when it touches strings that most people would prefer to stay untouched.
Great job!
