[hometext] => A poem about decisions.
[bodytext] => Sarah and I met at a party one night
we had hardly been drinking at all her hair was like gossamer, eyes were like gems, a perfect five foot four tall. She smiled just like a marble goddess and we talked for five hours on end about weather and life and previous loves, and how we could both use a friend. I bought her a drink, she bought me one too as the crowd in that house became thin I walked her back home so she wasn’t alone but it still wasn’t near the night’s end. She talked me inside and popped in a flick, and asked what my poison would be. I asked for some water, for she’d be enough to cripple an old Grecian sea. The film made us laugh ‘til we’d had enough and pleasantries filled both our heads. I kissed her goodnight, but that wasn’t right cuz she led me up into her bed. Our daughter was born some four years ago, and we’ve hardly said two words since then she lights up my life that child of mine, and I’m glad Sarah made me my friend. Though fight as we do, please don’t misconstrue, I’ll love Natalie to my end. The stupid thing is, had I not had that kid, I’d have millions of dollars to spend.
