Does anybody know?

Can u reply to my questions?
Can u take me out of this place?
Can u understand what it feels like
To be alone, unsure, afraid?

I stand here, naked
Baring the truth
Feeling the rain fall on me
Silvery droplets that penetrate the skin

I imagine it as a blessing
To believe in God once more
Praying he’ll bring me back to the start again
The place where I belong

A time when I understood what life was for
A time when my emotions all made sense
And trouble passed by mind without thought
And want and regret were a passing dream

A warm glow surrounds me now
Am I being healed of this pain?
I know I have upset him with this
When I tell him I want to die

He doesn’t really understand how it feels
But cares for me more than you would know
And like the rain he showers me with forgiven love
And treats my pain with care

And as these droplets soak my skin
Tears of fear pour out my soul
And you have no Idea what it feels like to be dead
But you want to live once more

And visions of another world
Penetrate your mind
Making you wish of a sorrow-free land
Where you and I both can live

And freedom takes over the doubt
And hiding from the fear becomes no more
And shadows of dark thoughts that took over your life
Leave forever more

This place that I describe
Would seem like heaven to you
But to me it is the only place
Here inside his heart

Where forever the sunlight shows
And I breathe still air once more
Dark thoughts of death and bloody things
Are burnt away in the fire

Dave if you’re out there hun
Know ill always be there
Just like the times when you were for me
And no one seemed to care

It’s true when they say-
“All you need is love”
Though I know many of you
Would pass it without care

But when you meet the one from your dreams
All nightmares are driven away
And life seems so much more than it was
From a broken dream to reality

A
Blessing
