Damnation And Salvation

Contributed by MrMojoRisin on Sunday, 8th February 2004 @ 11:15:48 AM in AEST
Topic: ChristianPoetry

The bombs were dropped
The city was razed
None were spared
The innocents were slaughtered
The virgins sacrificed to the gods
And here I stand, leader of it all
Bringing my reign of terror to life
Ruling my world with an iron fist
And a stone cold heart.

A pact with the devil
A covenant for life
Amidst the flames and the heat
He sat high on his throne
A symbol of powerful evil
His minions glared at me
Through bloodthirsty eyes
All around me, the screams
Oh, the screams of the dammed
They pierced my ears,
Slashed open my heart
And brought forth my soul

I lay there, in front of the King
Dying, gasping for breath.
Reaching for any life I could hold
He gave me this life of sin
And I sold him my soul
Forever living, I set the earth on fire
Burning, pillaging, raping
Forever doing his will

Now I stand in power
Ruling the Earth in the name of my master
Lucifer, Lord of All
The greatest angel, the all powerful
The world is covered by a black cloud
People live in fear and hate
Crying out for their God
To rid them of their misery

And where is God now
I ask the slaves of my lord
He cannot help you, religion is dead
You started all this, This is the end
All of your sins you?ll now repay
The killing of the unborn, the wars
Euthanasia, the gassings, the hangings
All of it comes around again
And payback is always a *****

The human race in my chains,
They build an empire for Satan
So he can ascend to the world
And regain all his glory
To build an inhuman army
And return to the most high
Take back heaven, defeat the angels
And enslave the Three in One

Suddenly the black clouds open up
And the brightest light shines forth
God has returned to put things in their place
The people look scared, Apocalypse now
Good versus evil, the battle begins
Golden white beams shoot down from the sky
And red glowing orbs shoot up from Hell
The battle ensues, the angels in white
Fight those of black to the death
Evil appears to be winning,
but now the Son rises.
He steps forward, a dove in his hand
And expels the demons, drives them back
They scream in pain of his holy power
But the people are too many
Under Beelzebub?s power
They again kill the Son,
Hang him on a cross of steel
But in His death, he saves us all
The chains are broken, our spirits freed
He forgave us our sins, and we start anew
Even I received absolution
Now I am lowly and dying
I can make out images of the people
Conquering evil, defeating the Devil

The judgment day has come
The battle for life is over
I stand at the gates awaiting my sentence
Banished to hell for my sins
For which I would not repent
Sent to a lifetime of misery
Constant pain unbearable
But the fault is all mine
I lived the bad life and
Refused to convert and see the light
And now for eternity I suffer
Burning in this torment forever,
Wailing and gnashing my teeth.

The choice is yours my friends
You can live in God?s grace
Confess all thy sins
And seek forgiveness
Live as Jesus did do
Whatever he tells you
Love the Lord with all your
Heart, mind, and soul; and
Love your neighbor as yourself
That is the kwy to heaven
The secret of Salvation
So go now, change your life
For you do not know the hour
When the Master comes for you.
