reveling in their beautiful light,
he glances to the mountains,
at the heights he once attained,

he decides to climb this mountain,
but will his poor feet go up again?
for love was up that peak one time,
he thought as he began the climb,

carefully a sensitive foot is placed,
with conscious racing of the heart,
he wonders will loves weather hold,
or silently tear his world apart,

almost tumbling to rocks below,
and his impending certain death,
he contemplates on letting go;
instead a huge intake of breath,

the peak now right before him;
and brilliant sun is now at full,
oh, to have a quenching drink,
he salivates, begins to drool,

if only love would come to him,
with his life he could start again,
his hopes for love now gone astray,
his hesperus star an alpha ray,

slowly he reaches the very top,
where his poor heart, it almost stopped,
as his world became complete; for
waiting there, dear love so sweet.

Oh beautiful very beautiful!!!!!! Amazingly written with a deep meaning! At least he didn't give up he reached the top, and most of all reached there alive, would be a pity to reach the top and die, but it would still be worth it ;) Loved it a lot!
Anne :D

You write a super A fine poem

This guy who climbed, I could not be,
I'd like my loves more easily,
I climb a flight of stairs I'm pooped,
The girls I find, I feel quite duped...

This flow and rhyme made my heart skip a beat. ;) One of my favourites from you; although that list is getting longer.

Beautiful!
