[bodytext] => She sat alone, quietly basking for a moment in the metallic rays of the full, ripe moon The She wolf became part of an ancient ritual with The Old Man in the Moon He gazed lovingly at his muse As her night songs pierced thru the core of his melancholy soul On the other side two ears perk up Each time hearing her distant cry Their call and response goes on Till she allows him by her side Through out the ages her spell and mystery have captivated the romantic and the lonely But now her fierce strength and indomitable spirit are but folklore as are the wise people who shared their love of the land and their fate with the wolf-spirit and her kind Both never to be seen again.
