Array ( [sid] => 34070 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Spread your wings to complete your fantasy [time] => 2004-02-06 09:09:28 [hometext] => Beliving your mind over your body sometimes is the more intelligent decision. Your mind is far greater then you ever could imagine. [bodytext] => Confused and delirious, I wander upon this road.
As blank as I am, I continue to voyage.
Needing explanation, I meet a man, a wise one indeed.
Wanting answers from this wise man, I pursue what at last I came for.
I needed to know where life was heading.
This wise man told me to go and do as i will;
if I am to gain any form of knowledge.
A little perturbed from this announcement, I went along as he had once told me.
Coming across a barrier, I felt shadowed and trapped within these walls.
The most perfect sensation was yet to come.
A little baby eagle was entrapped in it's nest, frightened by the ground that lay below.
It's wings were not strong enough; it could not fly.
With a worrisome expression, this baby needed it's creator.
Soon after witnessing this, a miracle had occurred.
If only this youngling had used it's mind; it would travel farther then it's body could allow.
I then relived this barrier in my sights.
If only I could fly like the eagle or marvel like the wise man, maybe then this wall would vanish as if never being there at all.
And then it was no longer.
Abnormal mind fantasies can turn you inside out,
changing who you thought you are, to you have become.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
