Array ( [sid] => 33912 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => i become everything [time] => 2004-02-05 00:51:05 [hometext] => i couldn't find a proper topic. just something strange [bodytext] => the trees tower above
as i lay in the dirt
staring at the distant sky

and i let go
of everything
i feel myself fade away

and i become the dirt
and the trees that tower above
i become the animals that pass me by

i become everything

i see from countless eyes
every angle laid bare
i feel the wind
yet i am the wind
i taste the rain
yet i am the rain
i am everything

every emotion
sweeps through
and dies
and though i am empty
i am fulfilled
beyond any brief euphoria
garnered from the illusion of "love"
and all other temporary sensations

i exist as an eternal element
a being that is not a being
possessing naught but a presence
i taste the minds of mankind
and find them bland and similar

my eye is universal
for i look down from every sky
i am the light of life
generous beyond my mortal limitations
i give a final gift to the world
my tears of rain fall one last time
and i close my eye
i remove the sky
and everything is gone

this was so good
'every emotion

and dies
and though i am empty
i am fulfilled
beyond any brief euphoria
garnered from the illusion of "love"
and all other temporary sensations'

Sorry but I had to put the whole stanza because it was so amazing and true. Once again youv've stunned me.
