everything seems to be creaking
in every corner of this house
maybe it will blow down is what I tend to think
then Ill get caught up in a whirlwind
and end up outside in the frozen creek.
See me streaking in my jammies
bouncing across the frozen yard
might look like wizard of oz except with snow
and no pretty green yards.
Im trying to be happy though I hate this snow
Im tired of feeling frozen and the blue
discoloration of my nose.
Lonesome tonight I wouldnt say
but a pretty rose in full bloom may be nice
because this winter wonderland
is nothing right now but ice!!
Im wrapping up in my blanket
and pulling the pillow over my head
and say a little prayer that this house
doesnt blow away instead! [comments] => 5 [counter] => 196 [topic] => 54 [informant] => lonesomerose [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => happypoetry )

Oh me, I certainly don't envy u none and I pray u don't loose your utilities. Thank god we don't have snow or ice yet anyways. It's been raining of-n-on every day or so but so far when it's rained it's been too warm to freeze.
stay warm.-n-safe.
luv, huggs,
emy
