Within the midst of carnage
And the emotional turmoil it brings
At my door, there's a familiar face
The Grimm Reaper rings
You haven't come for me
Though many times, we've met before
Often leaving empty-handed
You keep coming back for more
I'm losing count of those you've taken
Near and dear, as they have been
But, of the times you've wanted me
I recall, it numbers eleven
And now, it is different
My child has felt your scorn
With your coldness and darkness
You've come for my first born
Like me, she won't be taken easy
And again, you'll not have your way
As you leave us, once again
I'll await your return one day
