Too much has gone by for me to care.
Gaze upon the building resting under snow.
I wonder where I am.
This is not my home.
This is not my life.
I served my sentence, time to awake.
Someone please save me.
Take me where no one could take me.

Only in you lie the answers to my secrets.
Only in you lies the end of my isolation
I'll never be able to go on alone.
I don't want to be the life they can condone.
Forever I'd be in debt to your gratitude.
As long as you take me from this life gone askew.
As long as you tell that it's over now.
As long as I know I'm not alone.

Take me from this place.
Take me from I've become.
Take me from what I've done.
Saught after someone to acknoledge me for so long.
Take me from this and tell me your here.
Take me from the shadows I've known.
Take me away.

I hid myself within my lies.
When all I wanted was a world of reality.
To awake.
To find the best within me.

Will I be forsaken?
Can I be forgiven?
Has anyone heard my screaming.
I shouted for someone to love
someone to know.
Someone to understand,
Someone to take me away. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 157 [topic] => 48 [informant] => myz3r0 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

Ooh, wow, I really like this =)
I mean, it's got so much emotion, but it's not cluttered with excess junk, you know? It's just what it should be.

Well done.

God bless,
Ellen
