I trusted you to believe in me.
But look where that's got me now.
You toyed with me like I was a game.
I know I can't be the only fool.
But did you treat the rest the same?

I tried to believe all of your lies,
You didn't give me a chance.
You were too busy scratching out my eyes.
I gave you a chance,
You took advantage of me.
But I was too blind to see.

I was tired of being deceived by you.
I was tired of being lied to.
That's when I said "No More"
That's when you hit me across the floor.
Your screaming,
Your swearing,
You kept on lieing, but I quit caring.

I tried to believe all of your lies,
You didn't give me a chance.
You were too busy scratching out my eyes.
I gave you a chance,
You took advantage of me.
But I was too blind to see.

I looked for you to stay with me

wow if that wasn't just a blur, put your thought in order before you put them down in writing. the concept was great but it lacks the ablity to grab you cuz you are tring to make something out of it. Sorry but rethink it and try again

I kinda see where the idea that its all jumbled is coming from. But if these are more along the lines of lyrics than they are understandably so.

I know exactly what you mean. My mother went through or is going through the same thing with my step father, except he has not beat her. I like it.
