Time goes by
It does not fly
For the people in my mind
It does wind
The clock hands round
On the hour it will sound
The warning whistle
The Fire’s in the thistle
Patch the crack
Where the wall they did whack
The brush back
Off the racing track
The scent
Of Mad Jack Bent
The pole
The one that he stole
The chickens from the barn
The old lady watched as she darned
The socks
Of Goldie-Locks
The gate
She will not wait
For me
I am lost you see!

Just write a poem about farts, they are always funny.
I got LOST reading your poem, so the title works out well! |
