"Ha Ha, Chloe Solomon.
Where have your breasts gone?"
Is a flat chest a crime?
In THEIR world - NOT MINE.

The other girls used to laugh in rhyme,
"Ha Ha, LOOK at your chest!
Look everyone, Chloe Solomon only needs a vest!"
Is a flat chest a crime?
In THEIR world - NOT MINE.

The other girls used to laugh in rhyme,
"Jeez Chloe Solomon, those are NEVER gonna sprout.
Why the hell don't you pad those tiny things out?"
Is a flat chest a crime?
In THEIR world - NOT MINE.

It is lousy when that happens.

Then, when you get them and you don't like wearing a bra, they tease about that!

Well, I'm laughing, but not at you.
This is a great little piece. It isn't what is on the outside, it's what is on the inside !!.
Those people who laughed, well they probably have things about themselves that they don't like either.

if only more girls would realize its not a crime and have the attitude that you do... keep your spirits high and dont let them get to you.. dont let them win... kids are cruel and like to tease if it wasnt this theyd find something else.. at least your strong enough to rise above them.. and who wants to have back problems and 2 big midgets holding you back all the time. its not fun.

This was a good poem.Unluckily I was cursed with a big chest, I would give anything to be a smaller size again.

My first reaction to reading this poem was to sigh and think about how cruel children can be. I love the fact that you see through the pettiness and superficiality of the "other girls." My second thought was: God made you just the way you are and who the hail are they to question His creation? Funny, I haven't seen any high fashion models with big boobs! I think you are much wiser than your years. I also suspect you are probably as beautiful on the outside as you are on the inside. I'm going to print this poem for my daughter, who will soon be facing what you have already experienced. This poem teaches an important lesson -to want what we have and take what we're given with grace. The last line says it all: "In THEIR world - NOT MINE." Great write!
