And we turn our hearts inside out
The anger we remember
The impenetrable clouds of doubt

The long chain that life leads
The people we will never forget
All the memories we hold on to
And all the things that we regret

The days that pass over us
And the sun will always shine
It may be behind ugly skies
Peek through all in good time

The fork in the road
Blinker to the left
Roll the window down just a bit further
It's the greatest day I've ever met

Live up through the bad times
Make the most of the good
Lose ourselves in remembrance
I knew you always would

Examples shown to no one
The lessons learned in time
The road less travelled is waiting for you
And so am I

The smiles I will remember
The tears I will never forget
I miss you more than oxygen
As I wait here, waiting as you lose your regret
