Greeted by a dew covered earth.

I breath in deep,
The rain coated air.

I am at peace,
But my mind continues to ponder...

Are you happy? Do you think of me often?
A tear forms in the corner of my eyes.

The silence is killing me,
Pulling me in all directions,
about to break,
A single tear falls slowly down my cheek,

Splash...
I look down,
As the tear sinks slowly into the soil.
Just then,
A soft, slender hand pulls my head level,
My eyes are greeted,
Not by a dew covered earth,
But by a smile...

A smile that always warms my very soul,
The silence is gone,
All my answers are unnecessary.
My tears have dried up,
Like the one in the soil.

I look again at the land around us,
And I am greeted,
By a rainbow.
This rainbow,
An expression of our love.
A love that will conquer all our fears,
Troubles, and nightmares,

I open my eyes,
Greeted by a dew covered earth.

I breath in deep,

Dang... I've been apart from the girl that I love for more than a year now, and what I miss most is her smile. Man, this poem ot to me!
