Bound by such emotional bygones
Obliged as the sun is to rise and fall
To follow my primitive fixation
Only to be ushered to a tasteless state

Passage of time tethered through desire
Doomed to fiction as is cupid
Tired of shame, alive to ardour
Marked at station, captured by want

Lashed to obey my empty thoughts
Devotion is lost in my future
Contaminated with fear, so lame
Contours sail goodbye , soul sweeps hello
