She Threw Away Her Babe

Contributed by jbrow on Sunday, 1st February 2004 @ 05:38:25 AM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

She threw away her babe, away into a garbage can. She threw away her
babe. She didn’t tell her lover man; That she was having his child. She
thought that he wouldn’t understand, so she threw away her babe into a
garbage can. She threw away her babe, it's time was short no more time left
inside of life’s hour glass.
As the cops came to the garbage can; she has thoughts of what could
have been. The tears start to flow, down her face they go. Some where inside
of her heart; she really knows, that it didn’t have to be this way. No it didn’t
have to be this way. She wonders what will her parents say, as the cops come
to her house to take her away. She will be on the six o'clock news today, as
the back talkers rule the day. she threw away her babe into a garbage can. She
threw away her babe, it's time was short no more time left inside of life’s hour
glass.
