mouthwatering thoughts of you
drift through my mind
without my consent or approval
uncontrollable desire sparks
daydreams and fantasies
sleeping in the verdant meadow
naked in your arms
you read to me and smoke cigarettes
I wrap myself in a tablecloth
wear it like a designer dress
you laugh at that and kiss me hard
making sure I understand
that I belong to you, the gypsy king
with amber eyes and sensuos mouth
you own my soul and without a doubt
the only man who has ever tamed me
we waste the afternoon drinking wine
and kissing in the verdant meadow

Didn't you write one about the gypsy king before? I liked this one as well. I swear the other one was slightly more descriptive though. Nice write.

Beautiful control between vocabulary and love. All of us can feel how the person feels.

Saw this scroll by in the comment box and am glad I came by for a read....

Personally, I sooo wouldn't call the afternoon "wasted". That kind of nothing-but-you day should be, I'd suggest, at the top of everyone's to-do list. *wink*

Wonderfully delivered, merry. Loved this.
