The suns radiance fades
Did we only meet by chance?
As the leaves turn to red and yellow shades
I look upon the hazy grey-blue sky
The wind begins to gently blow
And a tear sheds forth from my eye
For if you'll love me I'll never know
As the wind caresses my hair
I wish you were there
I wish you could see what is in my heart and soul
I wish you could see that without you I can never feel whole
As a fresh gust of air flows from the north
It carries your scent in its gentle breeze
It is the only direction I will look to henceforth
I whisper to the wind "come home please"
I need you for I miss you so much
I miss your smell and your touch
But not only that do I miss, my dear
If you could only be here
You would see that I miss your heart the most
For it haunts me like a ghost
That beautiful heart that lies inside of thee
Is made of pure beauty
And none can compare to you ever
For one like you I will meet again never
And as I stand by the crossroads of my life's journey
I may leave here someday but you will always posses my heart
For you are lovely
And though many times from eachother we may depart
I will always love you more each time we meet
For you are so kind and so sweet
