another night and low and behold i am awake
alone and thinking about my life
what a surprize

if this keeps up i will be ready for bed in
the morning sleepy eyed and saying
goodnight to the sunrise

i read a poem, it moves me to brimming tears
oh, how much i dearly love my poet friends
i wipe my eyes

another night and low and behold i am awake
alone and thinking about my life
what a surprize

awww what a sweet write - it's nice that we can keep each other company, especially on those nights when sleep leaves us to ponder life, love and happiness. What would I do without you?

Hugs

Do you ever find yourself lying in bed, staring at the ceiling while you compose yet another poem? Oh......maybe it's just me. I liked it: a poem that made me smile.

And I too feel the same way about you and he rest of the crew!
I don't write my poems at night.....i think and ponder all night sometimes.......then when the sun comes up....my subconscience mind takes over and I write poems like mad!
But in Wyoming it's so cold....you go to bed at night to stay warm.......not much thinking is done!
Sleep whenever you can Nessa....that's what I do. My neighbors think I hibernate.....but I'm happy and you will be too.....live like you want to!
Warm hugs and sweet dreams to you...morning noon or night!

Awww, I love ya too Nessa. I go through this at times. I get a poem stuck in my head and then it's gone in the morning. Great job. *S* Cynthia
