but even broken shards of glass cant hide
these faded eyes that continue to cut through my screaming soul
faded blue reflections of pain yet to be expressed
haunting memories of a past that i only wish to forget showcased in faded blue eyes
i stare into this broken mirror hopeing praying the reflection will change
but still i stare strait into faded blue eyes
dry and bloodshot from lack of sleep
and being denied the tears to soften their look
each day i return to that same broken mirror and each day my hopes are shaddered like the glass before me
as i stare into faded blue eyes.
but today was different because of you.
i smiled when you told a joke
and you said my eyes seemed brighter when i smiled.
so i look apon my broken mirror with renewed hope and to my astonishment ...

im stareing into faded blue eyes.
but maybe it just takes time.
after all pain can only heal so fast.

i stare into a broken mirror

i here what you're saying, and thanks for the coment on my poem, but it seems to me that every time i heal and stand, i'm just knocked down again. i've had theropy, anger management, i've changed schools, nithing work for me. i'm only 14, but i feel so cold....
