She tried to do things right but they always ended up wrong
We became inseperable: the best of friends
We were so happy: we never wanted it to end
They still didnt acknowledge us, but we didnt care
We did everything together, life was suddenly fair
But then she got needy, I just wanted out
We fought all the time, all we did was shout
I got real depressed, I just wanted to die
She'd break down for no reason, lay there and cry
She went to a doctor, he sed it was something manic
He did more tests and found her as schizophrenic
Thats the day my life ended, though in fact it never did
No matter how I try, I'll be stuck here as a kid
I was never real, just a voice in her head
I'll never be alive, but I can never be dead...

Absolutely beautiful. Written from an amazing point of view. You must have a creative imagination to think to write from that perspective. Amazing!
