A friendship turned to hate so soon

So much anger in just one little stare
No one else notices or could even care

They should have seen it coming from the very first day
Two fights in one year, the third put into play

Words have been passed, so many feelings let out
But still they burn with a hate so stout

Best friends turned enemies in just one night
Blind pain so thick it blocks out the light

Now they talk behind each other's back
Their fighting so intense, it makes the mirrors crack

They don't understand what caused all the hurt
Or why they can't just bury it all in the dirt

Their hearts ache thinking of what was lost
Why couldn't it just go away without such a high cost?

Their friendship is now no more than the past
But the anger and pain will always last [comments] => 4 [counter] => 150 [topic] => 39 [informant] => krazed_AnGeL101 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Grief )

Graet write. I have been there exactly. Silent fights can be just as deadly. Nearly killed me totally. A years break from each other and we are trying to get it together but then they go and attack me. Not worth it I can say now. I would have never been able to say that even just 3 months ago. So good luck with this situation. You only live once and to make the most of it is up to you. So you need to make a decision and stick to it and so does your friend. If you two do decide to stick it out you both need to lay some ground rules. Maybe this is just a test to make you both stronger. Good luck. Good write.
