Array ( [sid] => 32834 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Rain inside me [time] => 2004-01-27 00:35:11 [hometext] => It never seems to stop raining inside me. This is something I think we all can relate to from time to time. [bodytext] =>
As the clouds inside me rain
I can not help but feel pain
I try to find what is to gain
By keeping all straight and sane

The rain keeps falling, more and more
Inside my head I hear the roar
My body dropping to the floor
The tears, can not help but pour

The rain keeps coming, every day
The wind it makes my body sway
All the time, I pray and pray
"Will someone please take me away"

The rain keeps pouring, spewing down
There is enough for me to drown
The tears flow out my eyes of brown
My weeping is heard all over town

The rain keeps raining, no plotted rate
I guess I'm just lucky if this is fate
I don't know whether to love or to hate
I just wish I could go and clear my slate

The rain keeps flying, through the skies
I try to go back and truth my lies
But I was already given too many tries
The tears keep on rolling out my eyes

I do hope this rain will come to a halt
And let me stop drinking my liquor of malt
As I am not the one at fault
I just locked the truth up in my vault

The rain keeps slapping, on my head
It'll be so much easier when I'm dead
But the rest of my life I will be misled
Because all the lies remain unsaid [comments] => 3 [counter] => 180 [topic] => 48 [informant] => Disenchanted_Poet [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 15 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

I am very new on this sight but I can relate to you in many ways. I loved the poem, it made me cry just thinking of everything everyone goes through. Alot of people understand more that you think. Lovely poem
