[title] => The Roses
[time] => 2004-01-26 23:45:22
[hometext] => I wrote this for my Grandmother who just adores her rose garden.
[bodytext] => The Roses Love touched the petals in the form of morning dew, Sun is creeping up to start the day brand new. The pleasant fragrance moves through the air, As the gardener prunes the stems with lots of loving care. She sets them gently into a tall crystal vase, Then steps back to look at them with a smile on her face. Waking the next morning, she walks into the room, And sees that the buds have opened full bloom. Ever so slowly bending toward them she goes, To smell their sweet perfume as the petals kiss her nose. When they’ve wilted and been tossed away, She’ll go to the garden and cut more that day.
