I just started typing suddenly and this was formed. A happy poem, strangely enough-- how I feel when I am. [bodytext] => silver-sweet the stars above
golden glimmers, whispered love
velvet darkness, black as coal
silver-gold is in my soul

gentle green the dewy lawn
amber in the nearing dawn
vibrant blue the churning sea
all are faded next to me

rainbow murmurs twist and twine
thinking thoughts that make me shine
all the colors in the skies
now must dwell within my eyes. [comments] => 11 [counter] => 306 [topic] => 54 [informant] => ShadowDaughter [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 20 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => happypoetry )

Words fail me.....
I have to tell you that this is now my favorite by you.
You shine when you write happy poems.
The flow, the rhyme, everything is in synch.
I commend you because you've out done yourself on this one. May you carry on! Kie

Yep - this is excellent.
The way you use the visual impact of colours is impressive, particularly when you use them to lead up to and underline your "radiance":
"all are faded next to me".
There is a genuine talent here.

Awww, Nora, I had no idea! I really like this one a lot, shows a side to your poetry that is beautiful, but neglected. Brought a smile to my face.

Truly,
-Dan
