My daughter woke me to tell me my sister-in-law had passed away I sat up in my bed and thought oh and I never got the chance 2 say I'm sorry. Her spirit came to me instently and said, It's o.k., I understand as I can see it all now. [bodytext] => For Linda (Nall) Yarberry
deceased.

This smile,
my heart sings today
lifted me higher
as I went my way.
We both know the reason,
how sorrow last only a season.
Your star light from heaven
shines down.
It makes me smile
your secrets,
I've found.

Yeah, yeah, yeah
just keep on shining.
Just shine your light beams
from me
so others might see.
Feeling your spirit
happily stroll
As destiny of life
does freely flow. [comments] => 9 [counter] => 291 [topic] => 55 [informant] => emystar [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 1 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )

Aww Emy i'm so sorry.... My mom died in a drunk driving accident when I was five and I remeber my grandmother telling me she saw her before the accident. You write from the heart it's so beautiful the way you make words sing. Your poetry is a friend to everybody and a soul to your body.

This poem reminds me of what my sweet said to me one night on the phone. If you have something to say to a loved one then say it, you might never get the opportunity to do it again......A brilliant and heartfelt write...

Cheers,
#13
