Array ( [sid] => 32616 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => After High School [time] => 2004-01-24 21:37:06 [hometext] => I'm a sophomore. This is me thinking about after all of this.... [bodytext] => I sit and think
of how things are.
Then I think
Of how they will be.

For I've only
two short years.
Two years to do things;
To wrap it up.

For in that time,
the book will close.
And another in it's place;
open up to me.

It hurts so much
to think I have to leave;
all my friends
and everything that matters.

In all truth,
It scares me.
When you get down to it,
I'm terrified.

The more I think about it,
Will I survive out there,
Will I make it somehow,
I just dont know anymore.

Sure I've seen a lot
Sure I've seen the world.
At least my little corner,
But it's a big world.

What will it be like,
How will I change,
Will I make it,
Will I survive? [comments] => 3 [counter] => 290 [topic] => 21 [informant] => Elf [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

Good focus on your feelings you send the message across perfectly. Your short pattern of writting is impressive and you have the beginning of beat poetry. It moves the way you word it. People can sing to this believe it or not.... You have the gift my friend now let it go. Because you'll see alot more of life as you continue to grow.

Great poem, really relevant for me. I keep thinking about the future and the endless possibilities and fear of the unknown. You've summed up my thoughts in a poem.
