It was dark and the night was cold
This girl is only twelve years old
She's taken by a guy so bold
In an alley is where he goes
He throws her down, ripping off her clothes
She pleas with him to let her go
His intentions she already knows
Violently he forces himself on top
She screams in pain, pleading him to stop
She's so afraid and begins to cry
As he continues forcing himself inside
She hits and screams so he ties her up
He puts cloth in her mouth and tapes it shut
Unable to move she lyes there still
Shivered by the dark night chill
Unable to fight, he does what he wants
Tears fall from her eyes as he taunts
He whispers to her 'Soon this all will be done'
He pushes harder & faster, he starts to come
Out of breath, he comes to an end
But what he's done will never mend
From his pocket he pulls out a knife
And softly tells her 'I'll take your life'
He cuts from her neck to her private parts
He reaches in and pulls out her heart
He puts it in a jar and takes it home
Puts it on a shelf then lyes down alone
This twelve year old girl was sent to her grave
But this is reality of a society that rapes. [comments] => 9 [counter] => 349 [topic] => 21 [informant] => CuttersAngel [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 2 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

in all truth, this is a sad reality. I, myself have seen this kind of thing happen.
A young child struck down simply because they were at the wrong place at the wrong time. I see just how lucky I am that I didn't get killed..... It was my luck that my b/f came by before that happened... *shivers* I thank God for him....
Such a sad, sad realty.......

Interesting... I'm not quite sure how I should take this, since it seems to me it can be taken both on a literal and metaphorical level. Either way, it's excellent. Sad, no doubt, but excellent.
