To the melody of a harp,
Sounding notes as sharp,
As broken pieces of glass,
The voice belongs to the one,
Angel with the cracked wings.

And striking the next tragic chord,
Tells his story of despair,
Within the house of the Lord,
His tears, turning to rain clouds,
Fill the lonely air,
The Father, the Spirit, the Son,
Listen to the angel regale,
Them with his mortal misery,
Stopping to sob and wail,
While glancing at the trinity.

With pure conviction in his eyes,
He leaves his gloomy seat,
Stretching, breaks the veneer off,
Of his ugly cracked wings,
Taking on a perfect form,
Sails away upon heavenly winds,
To cause another brilliant storm.

Well thought out mate, I'd like to read more poems about this angel. It could be a series of poems that tells of his adventures.

Your left in suspense wondering whats going to happen next.... The descriptions are fantastic..."His tears, turning to rain clouds..." Wow this goes in the books.... The crack wing has significance to his misery... With "pure conviction in his eyes" I'm going to say he's out for revenge on something that happened to him that caused him to die. What a great story intro....well done
