Array ( [sid] => 32479 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => So Much Random [time] => 2004-01-23 07:40:13 [hometext] => all poems i write are related one way or another to alzheimers, a tragedy all need to be aware of [bodytext] => life travels so many different directions
some spend life with never a worry all good
others spend their whole life struggling why
it doesnt seem fair that it isnt half and half
if we are predestined why is there so much random

but life was never meant to be fair or just
it was just meant to be some better than others
who gets elected whoever draws the best number
it all seems so random never destined either way
if we are prdestined why is there so much random

i guess if we do look at life as so much more random
then we dont feel so bad otherwise how do we justify
i would feel very bad indeed if someone was chosen
to have a better life over me wouldnt you also
if we are predestined why is there so much random

it still doesnt make this any easier for us to stand by
i really hate to see people suffer like alzheimers does
why cant we find a cure for this diseas end suffering
better yet why cant we find my magic wand ill do it
if we are predestined why is there so much random [comments] => 1 [counter] => 189 [topic] => 39 [informant] => maryetta [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Grief )

Interesting thought? Life being random instead of predestined? You have some great points in your writting but an unclear direction. Stretch your thoughts out and this poem could be a breakthrough.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
