My pen in hand I hold
I’ll start to write

You’re a great gift of God

He has healed your heart

He says “My child, I’ll dry your tears
My love will drown out all your fears.”

A tribute to the times
Curled in a corner crying
I write this for I feel a tug
Telling me you need a hug

If you need to laugh, I’ll laugh with you
If you need to cry, I’ll do that too

For you Hope
My pen in hand I hold
I’ll start to write
Just to tell you it’s all right

Just want to say
You’re a great gift of God
An example are you
Of what God’s touch can do

He has healed your heart
Behind His back He’s put your past

Great poem, I liked it alot. From someone surviving a lifetime of unhappiest i know that friends are there to help you out. Continue to be a wonderful friend and keep up the writing

This is sweet. It also makes me want to remind myself that God is also there for us when we need a friend, and no one else is there. We are never alone, though often times it feels that way.
