Maybe you are the one following.
I often felt like I was at arms length
Occasional friends, not quite comfortable.
You sit in your chair
Believing you know it all.
If you want to listen to my thoughts
Hear this-
'...' The winding wind of change.
Understand? Am I so fake?
What if this is who I am and you have just misunderstood all along?
It's not just up to me you know.
Why dont you bridge the gap?
Why dont you make a stand

Come and talk
Because I honestly did not believe you really cared
Did not know it meant so much.
You see you never told me.
How was I to know?

And now, you write to make an impact
And I write to make an apology.
Because I am sorry if I disappoint you
But I cant see from your view.
And I am sorry for not standing by recently
But I always felt second best to you.
So I drifted away.
Because i always felt like a time-waster-
Someone to fill the hours with
Until he came along again.
So I am sorry for the distance
But I did not realise your pain.
And I am sorry for my selfish-nature
But I cant help the way I am.

I hope you can accept this
Or at least understand
What I am thinking.
And why I drifted
