[hometext] => A poem about being comfortable.
[bodytext] => Lying naked in the dark, the sharp light pierces my defenses, though I’ve tried my damnedest to keep it out. Some voiceless running water, a flush, the sound of hot steam being shoved away by the reluctant coffeepot whose veins have only ever run with water, five minutes, and finally, another flush. I know that means he’s making tea, and though I sit unverified, I can swear that he’s a vampire. It’s almost A.M., and he’s having a cup to RESTORE his vitality, instead of giving in to his weariness, like any normal daywalker. The photon armies retreat, having successfully impregnated my pupils with alertness and tension, and I am left lying here, completely naked, to slip into the recesses of the mind.
