Array ( [sid] => 3233 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Boy In My Mind [time] => 2002-09-02 19:35:57 [hometext] => I wrote this about a boy I made up in my mind, about a love I crave and have never experienced anything close to...I guess you could say this poem puts my deepest, truest desire into words. [bodytext] => I dreampt up a boy
Who lives in my imagination
He has impossibly bright blue eyes
And he'd be sad if I said goodbye

He took me not on a train or a boat
He took me on a dream
To places I've never been
To show me things I've never seen

I'm fantasizing
Of an endless field of lush green grass
With wildflowers growing all around
Just within our reach upon the ground

He winds them one by one into a wreath
Places it on my head
Not a single word is said
But some day far off we'll be wed

Our trysts are secret
Kept locked up with a key in my heart
Each moment together is precious
And everything but mysterious

He always runs his fingers through my hair
Holds me eternally
His strong arms are all I need
Wonder if he's out there and real [comments] => 6 [counter] => 230 [topic] => 14 [informant] => MoonlitAngel [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DreamsandWishes )
