Does The Bed Mean More

Contributed by maryetta on Monday, 19th January 2004 @ 04:38:44 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

she finds more things unfamiliar to her now
her biggest concern is her bed is unfamiliar
it doesnt occur to her she can still sleep in it
she is only concerned that it is unfamiliar
when does the bed mean more that comfort

to us it is such a small deal so what sleep in it
but to her that is the biggest thing in her life
the bed is our most favorite place to be at night
when it is unfamiliar you dont sleep well
when does the bed mean more than comfort

she has slept in this bed for three years now
but does three years over rule thirty years
we traded a thirty year old full size hard bed
for a brand new twin size heated waterbed
when does the bed mean more than comfort

the heat is for her aged old cold sore bones
but that may not matter if the hard double bed
is all the is ingrained into her head right now
i may just have to learn to live with this one
when does the bed mean more than comfort
