Pisces and Taurus

Contributed by JenimaeMalinaHaloisi on Monday, 19th January 2004 @ 12:28:58 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

As Taurus was drinking from the stream
She saw something she thought was a dream
A pair of fish swimming in circles, each going a different direction
Then she saw her reflection
She thought "I am too ugly to be loved by such a beautiful fish"
She thought her love was a just a silly wish
Each day she would drink at the stream
To see her love that was like a wonderful dream
Then one day she looked at her reflection and heaved a heavy sigh
Her tears fell in the stream as she began to cry
One fish swam to her "My name is Pisces" said he
"My name is Taurus" said she
"Why do you cry?" he asked of her
'Because you are so beautiful and I wish I were your lover"
She said
She had cried so much she felt she was dead
But he looked at her with a sparkle in his eye
Come away with me he said and together to the moon we shall fly
Forever in love you and I
With that her heart grew
She felt a love that she never before this knew
Their love was so great that not only to the moon did they fly
But to the black heavens up on high
And now they are stars in the sky
Forever in love and destined to be
Are Taurus the bull and a fish called Pisces
