deep and true as birds fly quietly above
here as i wait for you to return to me

time stands still as i remember your kiss
pillowcase scent of you, i long the sweet bliss
days long and long... i wait to hear your voice

you should be here when i want to cry
bring me laughter, wipe a tear from my eye
let me melt in your arms and have peace

my love for you dear is most deep and true
im the woman who is faithful to you
so i sit and wait tonight under this moon

in these mountains are echos of our love
deep and true as stars shine quietly above
here as i wait for you to return to me...

wow this is really powerful, and lovely yet sad. And how did you do that cool thing at the end, with the symbols? It looks wiked. Anyway great poem and keep it up

Your words are so beautiful... they ring a little bell in my memory. Such a familiar feeling... there's not much worse than waiting... just sitting and waiting... not knowing... I might have to add that to my list of things that terrify me, lol. Waiting and not knowing and being powerless to make what you want done. I wish I could do something to help. Love and hugs,

~ Dee
