Fully disguised as love I thought could be true

I figured I was ready to care without pain
Though short term happiness is all I gained

What came along I believed was a dream
Mistaken I was, for real it did not seem

Wonderful and amazing however I was blind
The one who was meant for me I still had yet to find

What came along quickly ended with nothing left to give
The walls were closing in on me I felt I could not live

Losing a piece of your heart is a feeling no person should endure
I know this from experience, I have felt this feeling for sure

What came along was God's love and grace
He waited for the right moment working at his own pace

He worked a miracle within me visible for anyone to see
Now that I've surrendered my heart I've never been so free [comments] => 2 [counter] => 146 [topic] => 11 [informant] => bychristimsaved [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => ChristianPoetry )
