I know how mush you did care!
There is so much we could still share!
Oh dad are you there?

The hurt that day I felt!
Oh my heart did melt!
The call came what a hand it dealt!
Oh the hurt that day I felt!

I was told you were gone!
The hurt was so great I was torn!
I felt and wished I were never born!
Oh I was told you were gone!

Sadness filled my heart!
I knew we would forever be apart!
I wish we could have had a brand new start!
Oh sadness filed my heart!

Tears fill my eyes even now!
Twenty plus years have past, wow!
I wish I could see you one more time, oh how!
Oh tears fill my eyes even now!

Dad to see and hold you once more!
So many thought we were poor!
They could not see beyond the door!
Oh dad to see and hold you once more!

Dad you are forever in my memories!
Our lives had some pits like cherries!
But burdened together, our love carries!
Oh dad you are forever in my memories!

I love you dad!
Many a joy we had!
I should not feel sad!
I love you dad!

From you loving son!
Together we had so much fun!
Working and playing under the sun!
From a loving son!

To a loving father no longer here today!
But my memories live in my heart to stay!
So dad you are with me day to day!
To a loving father no longer here today!
