naked and broken with dirt on my face
i have a name for this pit
it's called my life
my mind
the only place where i am me
and me is sad
sick
lonely
i cry very softly but the tears are a constant stream
a waterfall of salty pain
slices of joy,
of release are all over me
i bleed all the time,
just to see that my insides are real
i forget sometimes
cause my mind likes to trick me
i am so alone i lose my sanity
in this pit by myself
naked and sick
my mind goes running to all directions
but moments of normal
where i think straight and right
are getting fewer lately
further apart and less and less time
i will hold myself closer,
since no one else will
and grip tight on my moments of normal [comments] => 5 [counter] => 146 [topic] => 32 [informant] => Lessa [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )

I really enjoyed it...I feel your pain. I hate your pain. Try and remember there really is no "normal". We are all individuals and we all have good points and bad...I wish I could reach out to you..The poetry itself, there are small things like spelling or typos...I can't tell, and that made it seem rushed; Publishers don't usually accept misspellings. I have lots of rejection letters in my file; I know.

Do you know? That you can climb out of that pit and lay there no more? And who knows, may be outside that pit, there are an angel waiting to kiss, and wrap the loving blanklet around your naked soul? Do not give up hopes!!!
