i wonder how you're feeling
if you're dreaming at this moment
of a sunnier day
or if you're locked away somewhere
feeling sorry for yourself
the way i do sometimes
on rainy Sunday afternoons

perhaps you're surrounded
in bad company,
wishing you were some place else
anywhere, —maybe with me
finger drawing on the window pane
watching the rain, warm and cozy
by the fire
snuggling in its glow

perhaps you're with a friend
reminiscing of good times
tending to your needs, drinking
a glass of wine and smiling,
surprised you still can
with all that's on your mind
but smiling just the same

perhaps you're sleeping
sprawled out on your bed
with sexy little fairies dancing
in your head, and the background
sounds of a distant whisper
composing the melody
to keep you warm

perhaps you've become
a poem

Last line - surprising and perfect. Sexy dancing fairies - I need some of them heh heh. Ok, I'm not being a real good reader/commenter here. I'll give this one a 4 on the Nortiscale.
