Array ( [sid] => 31422 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Love Trap [time] => 2004-01-11 21:50:50 [hometext] => me and my boyfriend broke up, hince this poem [bodytext] => you said you love me
but thats crap
i should have known it was a trick
a trap

but my life was meaningless
and i needed more
not jewls or gifts
but love galore

and when you said it
i knew it had to be true
just because
the words came from you

i didn't want to be here
right now i should be gone
but istayed for a man
who is nothing more than a moron

but look at me
i'm not free to judge
i'm not free to call you names
or hold a grudge

but i do
i'll call you what i am
i won't think twice about it
and i won't give a damn

you were so sweet and incocent
when we were going out
but nothing so wonderful
could ever work out

i couldn't have imagined
with one stupid fight
i'd be forced to watch one empty day
turn into every lonley night

who have i now
to protect me when i'm scared
it seemed you were the only person
who achually cared

so here i am
writing a poem about what i don't have
about my lost love
about my not so better half

i sit here
baring my soul to no one at all
praying and hoping against hope
that maybe you'll call

it's pathetic
how i think i need a man
expecially one
who does not appreciate who i am

but i'm not blessed enough
to find the perfect date
and not patient enough
to wait the torturing wait

so i think i'll forget about men
their becoming my worst fear
they only bring heartache
and many tears [comments] => 2 [counter] => 152 [topic] => 6 [informant] => PieEater [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => AngryPoetry )

This is a sad thing to have to write about but not all men are bad. Soon enough with some hope you will find the one you were meant to be with. Beautiful write

All men do suck! Go lesbian! They are harder to find but they know exactly where u are coming from and can take care of you better then any man can ever! Even if you don't go lesbian...keep ur head up and alwasy remember that wehn the right person comes along...God will keep them at ur side and also always remember that everything happens for a reason! You may not know the reason now but u will at some point in time hopefully!
