I have been punishing myself day by day.
But this feeling I have felt it before,
But that feeling always walks out my door.

So I deserve for my pain to stay,
My days deserve to stay grey,
But you encircle thoughts in my head,
Your words, how I longed for them to be said.

Please don’t be another to break my heart,
Don’t be my reason to fully fall apart,
But this poem is going to drastically turn,
As you too left me without a concern.

So I go in circles, going back to square one,
Thinking there’s only one thing left to be done.
Thanks for making me laugh, making me smile,
Making that short time for me worthwhile.

I won’t be thinking of you as I go my way,
You’ll live on for another damn day.
This’ll give you more space to breathe,
But won’t mean enough for you to grieve.

Yup Yup, I know where you are coming from with this one Emma. Being in love, then having it suddenly disapear - it's an awful thing to have to go through. It leaves you confused and hurt. I'm here for you when you need to talk hun.

Beautiful! The poem has a sad tone but it shows a lot of determination! I admire you for it. Great writing, keep writing! ;)
