im falling free
a temporary loss of gravity
when the skies melt
and the breeze is felt
while im sinking through the stars
looking down on ants known as cars
the bright city lights in the back of my head
as i fall down fast, arms spread
because tonight im flying
past my senses
over fences
beyond the rules of this great feeling
i am falling
and for the first time ever
i know this is my calling
what better to do
than spend your time floating through the blue
looking down on the world
as the truth is uncurled
wind restraing me in mid-air
smiles that come easily and are not rare
take care
of the sky if you dare
because it's always there
and tonight im falling
through
to you
bright lights and mellow sounds
im almost to the grounds
that i see under me
as i fall freely
eyes closed, arms spread, wings out
i have no doubt
i mean for this cloud
for this fall
i would risk it all
cool air and damp skies
the earth beneath and the sun on all sides
the seas to the left and to the right
and i know i was meant for this night
this falling, effortless with ease
wading through a cool evenings breeze
to hit the crowd
face first
and take the plunge
from a cloud
because tonight im falling
through
